Project 66

In the summer of 2023, I embarked on a solo road trip with my film camera, aiming to capture the essence of Route 66 through my lens. Once an iconic highway representing the quintessence of America, Route 66 now stands as a deserted stretch filled with dilapidated buildings and abandoned towns.

Upon my return from this journey, I was thrilled to discover some truly remarkable shots as I developed, scanned, and edited the film. One of the reasons I take photographs is to decorate the spaces I inhabit with prints of my own work rather than relying solely on digital screens. For me, it's not just about the aesthetic appeal of the photo, but also the flood of emotions and stories that come back to me each time I gaze upon a moment captured through my lens.

About this e-zine

In August 2023, I went on a road trip along Route 66, aiming to take photos worth hanging on a wall. Most of the trip photos were taken with film cameras. This e-zine has a total of 52 images, and it also includes more than 30 minutes of exclusive behind-the-scenes footage.
